Hawaii Kai Condo Sales 1st 4 Months of 2009
I thought it would be interesting to see which buildings have sold the best so far this year, so I ran a comparison of all units since Jan. 1 (contact me for the complete list).
The Mauna Luan was the winner, with 6 sales, 2 - 1 bedroom, and 4 - 2 bedroom, ranging in price from $350,000 to $475,000. Mauna Luan is the largest condominium apartment complex with 433 units in two 20-story towers, 1- and 2- bedroom apartments in a variety of styles. The most notable feature of this complex is the amazing grounds, beautifully landscaped with waterfalls, two free-style swimming pools, nine Jacuzzis, 10 barbecue areas and a putting green. There are also two racquetball courts and a fitness room. Prices are somewhat
dependent on which building the unit is in, which affects the view. Maintenance fees currently run approximately $350 to $675/month.
